MONTHLY AND WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

Luncheons & Dinners
During the winter months enjoy our luncheons on the third Tuesday of every month at Noon.Then when the warmer weather arrives we have dinners at 6:00 pm on the third Tuesday of the month. Both luncheons and dinners feature great food and a variety of entertainment including music, films, dance, etc. 
Cost is $7.00 SAO Members/$10.00 Guests.

Men's Club Breakfast
Get out of the house and enjoy breakfast with your friends. Meets on Tuesdays as scheduled at 9:30 am. Cost is $3.00 for eggs, bagels, fruit, dessert and coffee. Call 330-445-2412 no later than noon the day before to reserve you place. Minimum of 3 attendees required.

Yiddish Club
Meets the third Tuesday of the month from 10:30 am – 11:30 am during the winter and from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm in the spring and fall. Persons with all levels of Yiddish are welcome. Come and share with your friends.

Out To Lunch Bunch
Fun monthly trips to area restaurants.

Crocheting Class
Create beautiful hats to donate to local charities. Our group is on-going and you do not need to be a Center member to attend. Yarn is provided...all you need to bring is a #3, #4 or #5 crochet hook. Meets every Monday at 1:00 pm at the CJCC.

TRIPS
We enjoy a variety of local excursions throughout the year to attractions in the Canton, Akron and Cleveland vicinities. Whether it’s a leisurely afternoon cruising around Cleveland on the Goodtime II, lunch and musical at the Wooster Inn and Light Opera or seeing the latest exhibit at Maltz Museum, our SAO group has loads of fun! Join today!

SPECIAL PROJECTS
Our SAO organization sponsors Deli Delight at the Annual CJCC Jewish Book Fair in November. Delicious soups, sandwiches and desserts are savored by all!
We also participate in a variety of volunteer projects for local charities including gift wrapping at Border’s Books in December and collecting clothing for needy Canton school children.

SENIOR ADULT
ORGANIZATION

If you’re a member of the CJCC you are eligible to join and support the Senior Adult Organization for $5.00 per single or $10 per couple a year.

Membership in the CJCC Senior Adult Organization entitles you to participate in the monthly Senior Adult programs including spring dinner programs, trips, local excursions, special programs and our “special interest” groups: The Out to Lunch Bunch, Yiddish Club and the Men’s Club as well as senior discounts on many programs.

CONTRIBUTIONS

When you want to show someone you are thinking of them, do it with a donation to the CJCC Senior Adult Organization. A beautiful acknowledgement card will be sent in your name in honor of birthdays, anniversaries, memorials, graduations, bar and bat mitzvahs, get well...any occasion. Minimum donation is $3.00.
